A Warm and Welcoming Congregation

The church family at Trinity-St. Michael’s is made up of individuals with diverse backgrounds, ages, ethnicities and walks of life.  They all share a common devotion to their faith and commitment to growing the congregation.  We welcome all wherever they are in their journey of faith.

“I prepared for my first communion at Trinity Church, and have been a member of Trinity-St. Michael’s for all of my adult life.  My children and grandchildren belong here too.

It’s my home.”

Phyllis Davis

“I was raised a Roman Catholic, and switched to Episcopalian when I was married here in 1942.  It was a candlelight mass, and then I left to serve in World War II in Europe.  I’ve been active in the church ever since, and my two sons were confirmed here.”

Gene Dardani

“I was a member here for many years.  When I moved to Connecticut from Riverdale, NY, I was looking for a church.  I visited several in the area, but they were either too big or unfriendly.  When I visited Trinity-St. Michael’s, I was invited to stay for coffee after the service.  I came back the next week, and continued until entering the priesthood.  My real family is far away, and this church has been my second family.  There’s a real sense of community here.  They work together and support each other.”

Reverend Rowena Kemp
